I booked a stay from November 1-5 and left on the 5th. Instead of changing me for those dates, they continued to charge me until November 13. When I called the hotel, they claimed that I asked the front desk to extend. I asked for proof and I was told by Janelle I would get a call back on Monday. That was 4 days ago and still no call. Be careful of this hotel. Clearly they don’t care about overcharging their guests.

Going to Ellenton area? Pick this one! Clean and friendly staff. This is my go to hotel when I go visit my mom in Florida. We had many weather delays this trip and didn't arrive to the hotel until 3 am. The front desk lady was very nice ( I can't remember her name, I was exhausted) She was friendly and understanding and had us in our room in 5 minutes. Clean rooms, comfy beds and a decent breakfast.

Stayed here for my birthday. 2 nights. I awoke naked at 9am (checkout is 11) in bed naked to someone standing in my room. Went down and the Manager Told my it was our fault for staying 2 nights and then switched up and said it's because we didn't put do not disturb On the door. She was Absolutely argumentative and a know it all who also told me I paid WAY less than I did because she couldn't look up the correct room numbers. Corporate needs to get a manager in there who isn't fake to corporate and uncooperative to consumers. It is absolutely unacceptable. DO NOT STAY HERE!

BEWARE: BED BUGS I showed up here late at night to check in, and checked out the next morning looking like this — bedbug bites all over my body and face. I canceled the rest of my stay, but they wouldn’t give me a refund. They blamed the bites I got overnight on a reaction to the detergent they use. I have no allergies. This is a dirty hotel full of bed bugs. When you get eaten alive here they won’t give you a refund. Buyer Beware.

Even though we had a problem with a third party booking agent (I will never use a third party booking agent again)( Call the hotel directly. They can offer prices and discounts the agents or apps cannot), the staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The room was clean and well taken care of. The staff were friendly and courteous. The coffee and the breakfast was pretty good too.

The bathroom was not good. Toilet was very short, shower was very old, and the metals were all rusty. Sink either barely ran or exploded, no good setting.

In town for a big family wedding relatives of all different abilities staying with us. Ideal location close to great restaurants and casual restaurants. Close enough to the water. Staff was friendly and breakfast was perfect. Lobby was a great place to hang out and great relatives. Very grateful to have a little home away from home. Exactly what you would expect from this type of hotel. Also, in case you run out of anything, there's a lot of stores nearby to pick it up.
